Meet the Team
Emily is the manager of the Your Voice project. She enjoys being part of this exciting project. She likes meeting lots of different people involved across the South West and hearing about the different work people are doing. Her hobbies are reading, watching films and meeting up with friends.
Lucy is the Project Coordinator for Your Voice. She enjoys bringing people together from across the Southwest to talk and share stories and ideas around health within a supportive environment. Lucy also works as a drama teacher, freelance choreographer, dance, and yoga teacher. Lucy is happiest when performing on stage, planning trips to far off seas, trying out new recipes in the kitchen and spending time with her amazing family and rescue cat, Socky!
Kayleigh is a project worker for Your Voice who has complex needs. She says; “I want to use my expert experience to support and empower others. I like to listen and do whatever is required to the best of my ability. I enjoy music, baking cakes, going shopping and wearing pretty clothes. I am passionate about making a difference and sharing ideas.
Paul is the Marketing Co-ordinator for the project. He makes sure that the website and social media platforms are kept up to date. Paul is always keen to share resources that aim to make healthcare more accessible. Outside of work Paul enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching films.
Sammy is the Autistic project worker on the project. She is autistic (without a Learning Disability) and is partially sighted. Her job is to help with the admin of the project but also to chair and facilitate the Autistic network meetings. She makes sure that the autistic voice is heard when we are talking to the NHS. In her spare time she likes sport, music and West End shows.
Cody is a project worker for ‘Your Voice.’ She enjoys hosting online meetings and chatting with news people across the South West. Much of Cody’s work involves researching new groups and representing ‘experts by experience’ with a powerful voice. Her favourite hobby is looking after her much loved cat, Bella. She also enjoys going to the hairdressers and experimenting with fresh colours and styles.
Lucy enjoys networking and meeting with different organisations. She says "Advocacy is something that I am passionate about, and I’m very glad to be involved with this project. Outside of work, I enjoy anything outdoorsy, especially hiking in the Malverns, baking, going to the theatre, travelling and spending quality time with friends and family".
