About

Meet the Team

helen

Helen is the manger for the ‘Your Voice’ project. She is really enjoying being part of such an incredible team that is working really hard to challenge the way health and social care services support people who are disabled or autistic. Outside of work, you can find Helen walking, playing music or spending time with her family.

Kayleigh

Kayleigh is a project worker for Your Voice who has complex needs. She says; “I want to use my expert experience to support and empower others. I like to listen and do whatever is required to the best of my ability. I enjoy music, baking cakes, going shopping and wearing pretty clothes. I am passionate about making a difference and sharing ideas.

Cody

Cody is a project worker for ‘Your Voice.’ She enjoys hosting online meetings and chatting with news people across the South West. Much of Cody’s work involves researching new groups and representing ‘experts by experience’ with a powerful voice. Her favourite hobby is looking after her much loved cat, Bella. She also enjoys going to the hairdressers and experimenting with fresh colours and styles.

Sammy

Sammy is the Autistic project worker on the project. She is autistic (without a Learning Disability) and is partially sighted. Her job is to help with the admin of the project but also to chair and facilitate the Autistic network meetings. She makes sure that the autistic voice is heard when we are talking to the NHS. In her spare time  she likes sport, music and West End shows.

Debbie

Debbie is the Project Coordinator for Your Voice. She enjoys being part of strengthening the voice of Self Advocacy in the South West and being able to feedback on shared barriers to people who have the power to make a difference. In her spare time she likes pottering in the garden and interior design.

paul

Paul is the Marketing Co-ordinator for the project. He makes sure that the website and social media platforms are kept up to date. Paul is always keen to share resources that aim to make healthcare more accessible. Outside of work Paul enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching films.
